Lisa came down to visit. It was rad! We hung out together for the first time in five months– and damn, was it nice. We checked out Mount Lemmon, spent an afternoon on the Mexican side of Nogales, and then headed north up towards Sedona and eventually Flagstaff for a combination wedding reception / sightseeing journey. On Wednesday, the first night, I had the pleasure of introducing Lisa to my weekly pizza-and-beer routine at Rocco’s Little Chicago, which rocks. Ah, my friends…they like to drink. A bunch of us ended up trapsing down to Vaudeville for the Carbonas and a few other Atlanta punk bands (I guess the Carbonas are on Dirtnap now?). It was okay. We ended up at the Congress taproom for some very, very, extremely intoxicated drinks. Managed to bike home okay.

We drove up Mt. Lemmon on Thursday and checked out the nature thing. Woo hoo. Nogales was friday; we did the usual walk-around-and-look-like-gringos thing.
